As a High Performing Specialist Arts College, we pride ourselves on providing a varied, personalised and challenging curriculum for all of our students. At the core of the curriculum are Maths, English and Science and most students will receive 6 lessons per fortnight in these subjects.
Throughout Year 7 students will also study; a Modern Foreign Language, ICT, Humanities, a range of Technology subjects, Art, Drama, Dance, Music and PE.
In Year 9 students are able to opt for specific Technology subjects and to study a BTEC qualification in an Arts subject which particularly interest them, leading to a more individual and fulfilling learning experience. For talented students there is the opportunity to begin level 2 courses in Year 9.
At Key Stage 4 students can select from over 30 subjects which will lead to GCSE, BTEC, NCFE or A’ level qualifications.
