Watching the Detectives

Young Year 8 sleuths investigated the theme of Social Responsibility whilst studying and exploring the book, An Inspector Calls. In teams, students have worked at school and at home to create resources and crime boards to summarise key events within the book.

A criminal trial was set up and took place during their Home Learning Showcase lesson. Student teams each presented their case knowledge, maps and findings to a jury of their peers, informing their deliberations to decide - Whose actions were the most heinous in the trial of the Birling Family!
