This year, our annual Choose Love show has developed into a Choose Love week. We wanted to bring our school community back together once again through the power of the arts and our community pledge. Every day we are sharing stories and inspiration through the year group assemblies with fun competitions and some fantastic creative work from our students.

Social media competition for all students. Students need to keep an eye on social media and their year teams posts to win some exciting choose love prizes.


"Too little too late?" An original Drama piece

Our resident playwright Miss Prudhoe has written another powerful poem, highlighting the struggles we face and why community is more important than ever!


Lyrical Miracle Music competition

The one and only, friend of CHS; Danny Gruff recorded three original tracks for students to write their own lyrics to.

Students had three weeks to create their own musical masterpieces and tonight, you will get to hear the finalists' work.


Choose Love show

Our annual show goes virtual and this year, we are sharing the story of how choose love and our community pledge was born.

Through stories, dance, drama and music we will continue to raise awareness for the ongoing refugee crisis.


Year 7 virtual Dance workshop

Emma Matthews, performer of the hit musical production of David Walliams 'Billionaire Boy', will work with year 7 on the themes of the production and learning some of the repertoire.
