We recently welcomed the poet and performer Reece Williams from The Portico Library, to run an inspirational creative writing workshop for our Year 7 and 8 students.
The workshop helped to stir our students thinking, energizing them with ideas to develop oracy skills further. Together they explored concepts of identity, culture and belonging before writing their own poems, inspired by the work of John Agard, playwright and poet.
Our huge thanks to Reece and to the Portico Library for this fantastic session.
