Chorlton High School’s Choose Love dance for camera performance piece was recently selected to be part of the U.Dance North West 2021 Festival. 

Ludus Dance, in partnership with The Lowry and North West Dance along with One Dance UK, are bringing the celebration of youth dance from the whole of the region. Our piece was selected by the independent panel, highlighting talent, creativity and passion. We are so proud of our Y7, Y8 and Y9 students who took part in the making of this dance film. Celebrating how dance could bring them together, although physically kept apart, Choose Love explores aspects of love, loss and longing.

Made in collaboration with film maker, Eve Shotton and musician Liam McClair, the dancers were asked to respond to the following questions: 

What does love look like?

What does love feel like?
