AQA Unlocking Potential

The AQA Unlocking Potential programme motivates and inspires young people to discover their strengths, developing resiliency, improving confidence, wellbeing and leadership.

This ‘transformational’ mentoring programme jointly with the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust for students aged from 11–19 years of age. It is expertly delivered by world class athletes and Olympians.

Each year, young people are brought together with world class athlete mentors to work in group and one-to-one sessions over a period of eight months. Places are strictly limited to 30 (across the whole UK), and students, or a staff ambassador, must apply for this incredible opportunity.

We are delighted to announce that four of our amazing students have succeed in securing their places. They will work alongside Charlotte Hartley, GB Youth team - Hockey, and receive dedicated support from this inspiring role model. Together, they will develop presentation and leadership skills to build self esteem and enhance their life aspirations.

These four students have been awarded the opportunity to be mentored by ex-Olympian Charlotte Hartley.  Only 30 students in the whole of the UK were selected and this is a testament to their amazing attitude and hard work. We are so proud of you! - Ms B Bailey

Our students will also plan and deliver a  community project, designed to inspire social action whilst enabling others to meet, overcome and succeed in their own challenges.
