Within our History classroom, students stepped into court and into the roles of lawyers, meticulously employing their gathered evidence to passionately advocate for or against President Truman's controversial decision to deploy atomic bombs in Japan during the Second World War.
This captivating educational experience ingeniously weaves rigorous student research with oracy and critical thinking. It brings to life the written word and the static image, enabling our young historians to both evoke and empathise with the thoughts, feelings and passions of this pivotal historical event. Our students loved taking part, and we may have found some budding future barristers!
