School Experience Programme

If you are interested in becoming a teacher it is very useful to gain experience in a high school setting.

Our School Experience Days (SEP) include:
•    Introduction to the school-led route into teaching (School Direct)
•    Time spent observing and interacting with a range of KS3 and GCSE classes
•    Opportunity to meet Subject Mentors and current School Direct trainee teachers
•    Future contact and UCAS application support from the Leader of Initial Teacher Training

You can gain school experience through the Department for Education website, where you can register with the School Experience Programme.

Search Chorlton High School to see the range of subjects we offer.

*Please note that school experience days are for prospective applicants to our school-led route into teacher training. Due to time and staff commitments we cannot offer school experience to anyone currently holding an offer from another ITE provider.
