On Thursday 1st March, Chorlton High School celebrated World Book Day.
Students were taken by surprise, as they arrived for school to find the English department and library team, magically transformed into their favourite book characters!
World Book Day offers a wonderful opportunity for teachers and students to engage in a celebration of reading, writing and learning, with a focus on creativity and imagination, during their usual school lessons.During the day, we also began our Book Character Competition, where students are encouraged to find 13 secret book readers hidden around our school!
Entry forms can be found below or at the CHS Library and the winners will receive a £5 book token and Easter Egg.
Entry forms must be returned to the CHS Library by 15th March 2018.
