We have some very important messages and exciting changes to your Distance Learning curriculum as we return from our Easter break. As a school, our staff have worked hard to develop lessons for our students and to enable improved communication between them and our teachers.

MICROSOFT OFFICE 365

We will now use a new platform that offers more to our students when carrying out their distance learning. Microsoft Office 365 allows for users to enjoy a more personalised experience, students will be able to access subject lessons, as well as Microsoft Applications like Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

From Monday 19th April 2020, we will provide ENGLISH, MATHS and SCIENCE lessons via Microsoft OFFICE.

As this is a new platform for us all, we will monitor its use and ongoing suitability for continued learning. We may experience initial teething problems but these will be registered, and the solutions built upon, to develop the best opportunities for our students to engage with their study. We will begin to migrate further curriculum subjects onto MicrosoftS Office once we have established confidence in this this exciting, new system .

As a school, we appreciate just how difficult this adjustment has been to make, please know that we strive to offer all of our students an interactive, enriching, rewarding, and now virtual curriculum during these difficult times. We look forward to our school reopening, but until then we will encourage us all to work together in support of our students and their future success.

TIMETABLE

Our student timetables will also change after Easter. We wanted to develop a more manageable and flexible approach to being Successful, Creative and Happy whilst prioritising effective use of time.

We would like our students to start their day with 'Meaningful Mornings' that focus on SUCCESSFUL completion of subject work, and in the afternoon, we encourage you to focus on, and enjoy, your CREATIVE and HAPPY activities. Please use the link below to access all of your creative tasks.
