A delegation of curious Year 9 students investigated the customs, religious traditions and lived experience of Judaism. They welcomed Rabbi Dovid Lewis of Bowdon Synagogue, to deliver an insightful presentation encompassing his role as a community leader, a teacher and devotion to a life of faith.
Rabbi Dovid welcomed a lively exploration, conversation, and debate during the hour-long session. Students were encouraged throughout to think about and ask any questions they had, receiving wisdom, and understanding with a smile.
Their time together served as a fantastic introduction to the lived experience of Judaism, and as a wonderful segway to a further guest – Sarah Sonaj Griffin.
