Image of Commitment to Action

The RACE Charter Mark is a formal recognition of a school's commitment to race equality. It is for schools that want to demonstrate their progress in creating an inclusive culture where all staff, students, parents, and partners are valued. The Charter Mark is awarded at three levels: bronze, silver, and gold and schools that achieve a Charter Mark are required to maintain their standards and undergo a reassessment every three years.

Schools that achieve the RACE Charter Mark receive a range of benefits, including:

  • A formal recognition of their commitment to race equality.
  • Access to training and resources to help them improve their work on race equality.
  • The opportunity to network with other schools that are committed to race equality.

As a school we are proud to continue to listen, take action and continue to work in partnership with Students and Teachers network (SSAT) and Fig Tree International.
