Year 7 were honoured to welcome the boundless energy and effervescence of the exceptional author Onjali Rauf.

During 30 nonstop minutes Onjali, Sunday Times bestselling children's author, led our students on a journey through time, history, representation, and repression, breathlessly highlighting the hidden individuals who have helped shape the world we live in today. Individuals who have made a difference, changed, and had change forced upon them, but regardless overcame whatever overwhelming challenges they found against them.

Onjali was kind enough to answer numerous student questions at the end of her talk with insight given to research and writing tips. Our students were thrilled to also be given the opportunity to meet and chat further with Onjali during an impromptu book signing and selfie taking end to a phenomenal event.
