A Celebration of voice: Black History Month 2025

Our Community of Belonging recently came together for a powerful Black History Month event, brilliantly organised and led by our Year 10 SOCA leaders (Students of Colour Association).

The event was a true testament to our commitment to diversity, featuring incredible musical performances, inspiring presentations on history, languages, and culture, and of course, delicious cake!

The focus was on finding voice, being heard, and dreaming big.

Our students created an inspiring space that celebrated diverse narratives and empowered everyone to speak confidently about their identity and aspirations.

We saw first hand how our young leaders embodied Motivation and Responsibility through their efforts, demonstrating that the future success of our school lies in the hands of this next generation of leaders. The entire event was a fantastic celebration of culture, history, and the power of a Successful, Creative, and Happy community.
