Wear It With Pride
Our uniform is a badge of pride. It creates a strong community of belonging. Being dressed correctly helps students arrive ready to be successful, creative, and happy. Below, we have categorised items by what is compulsory for all students or optional, and whether they must be branded or unbranded.
Daily Uniform (Years 7, 8, 9 & 10)
Black blazer with embroidered CHS logo - Compulsory and Branded.
White buttoned shirt/blouse - Compulsory and Unbranded.
Black, full length tailored school trousers - Compulsory and Unbranded.
OR
Black skirt - Compulsory and Branded.
Black plain school shoes or all black trainers - Compulsory and Unbranded.
Black tailored shorts - Optional and Unbranded.
CHS School Tie – Compulsory and Branded (using our school colours).
Each Year group has their own distinct tie. Parents can purchase a tie via the School Shop on Arbor.

What to wear for PE
Black T-shirt with embroidered CHS logo - Compulsory and Branded.
Black plain PE shorts - Compulsory and Unbranded.
Black plain football socks - Compulsory and Unbranded.
Black plain jogging pants - Optional and Unbranded.
Black plain Sports/Training top - Optional and Unbranded.
The purchase of jogging pants and a sports top may be beneficial for wear during the cooler months of the year. Students can expect to take part in outside PE lessons throughout the school year.

Uniform Donations
We welcome donations of pre-loved Chorlton High School uniform. Parents and students can hand donations in to the school Reception.
