Our Year 9 students experienced a fantastic start to a new project with a stimulating writing workshop for the New Views National Theatre competition!
The workshop, led by the talented Lekhani Chirwa, empowered our students to hone their performance and writing skills as they began to explore ideas for their own original plays.
This initiative is a brilliant extension of our commitment to nurturing Creative thinkers. By engaging directly with professional playwrights and artists, students are challenged to think outside the box and communicate complex themes effectively.
Students will now develop their own plays, exploring powerful narratives to support their own unique voices. This project emphasises Resiliency and Reflection guiding them to hone their stories and submit their finished works for this national competition.
We are excited to see the imaginative, innovative stories our Year 9 Scholars will bring to the stage!
