A Celebration of Spring and Empathy
Our Year 8 students brought the school to life this week with a spectacular Colour Run in celebration of Holi! Also known as the Festival of Colours, this beautiful tradition is a joyful celebration of spring, love, and new beginnings.
The students brought incredible enthusiasm to the event, racing through the course while being showered in bright, vibrant powders. Within minutes, the Year 7 yard was transformed into a spectacular, rainbow-coloured space, and it was an absolute joy to witness so much laughter, energy, and teamwork.

Beyond the fun, this event perfectly captured one of our core Qualities of Success: Empathy. Holi is a beautiful reminder to break down barriers, leave differences behind, and come together as equals. By enthusiastically embracing this vibrant festival, our students demonstrated a deep understanding and profound respect for diverse traditions. They experienced firsthand how sharing in another community's joy makes our own school family stronger, kinder, and more inclusive.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise such a bright, beautiful, and meaningful afternoon!
