Welcoming Our Future Scientists - Sparking Curiosity

A joy to welcome the next generation of bright minds to Chorlton High for a very special event recently!

We were thrilled to host the inaugural 'Energising Chorlton Science Fair'. Opening our doors to our wider community is always a highlight, and it was wonderful to see students from our brilliant local primary schools filling our school with science filled fun.

These young learners had been busy preparing all term, diving into exciting experiments and exploring the fascinating wonders of the scientific world. The fair provided a wonderfully supportive environment for them to showcase their amazing discoveries and proudly share everything they had learnt over the past few months.

It was a fantastic opportunity to spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of STEM subjects among the younger children. Alongside presenting their brilliant projects to our staff and students, the primary students also enjoyed a bit of friendly scientific competition! (Winners are pictured above!)

We are so proud to have facilitated this excellent community event, and we were absolutely blown away by the innovative ideas and boundless enthusiasm these future scientists brought to Chorlton High.
