Welcome To Year 7: A Fantastic First Two Weeks

Our new Year 7 students have made a brilliant start at Chorlton High School.

It is wonderful to see them settle so quickly into our 'Community of Belonging'. From a nervous first Monday to a confident second Friday, our new students are already mastering their daily routines.

During these first two weeks, we introduced Year 7 to the CHS Scholar programme. This mindset is their foundation for success. It shows students exactly how to approach their learning with confidence. Teachers have used assemblies and form times to help students practice these excellent new habits.

•    ATTENTION – No1 habit for effective learning
•    ORGANISE – Our exercise books show effort and pride
•    TALK – Speak and listen like scholars
