Ms. Miller And Soca Nominated For Best Of Manchester Award

We are absolutely thrilled to share that our Students of Colour Association (SOCA) and Ms. Miller have been nominated for a Best of Manchester Award.

Manchester City Council created these new awards to celebrate the wonderful people who quietly support our local neighbourhoods.

They are nominated together in the 'Bringing Communities Together' category.

This special award recognises people who champion diversity by:
•    understanding and celebrating different cultures
•    welcoming everyone into shared spaces
•    working together to make a difference

Ms. Miller and our amazing SOCA students work with such heart to make Chorlton High a true 'Community of Belonging'. They make sure we hear and celebrate every single voice in our school.
Next, they will meet the Lord Mayor at a special reception for the nominees. The council will announce the final shortlist later this month.

A huge congratulations to Ms. Miller and all the students in SOCA. Thank you for making our school, and our city, such a welcoming place.
